Hello!
I am Kelly Korman, proud owner and quilter of Blue Heron Quilts.
A native Florida Woman born and raised, I cherish my time most when I’m with those I love, together immersed in Florida’s lush landscapes.

I carefully source materials to create small heirloom quilts that capture the local warmth, vibrancy, and diversity in this beautiful state. I have also come to find that my favorite quilts to make are for people I know and love, quilts that have a story to tell and celebrate a moment in time for someone special.

All quilts are entirely pieced and quilted by me at my home. I also repurpose vintage cutter quilts into usable one-of-a-kind items to give them new life.

Every quilt is made with solely nonsynthetic materials including cotton, linen, hemp and silk, and most often include repurposed fabrics. I will be a lifelong learner of quilts, their history and traditions, and the best approaches to make pieces that last and reflect my vision. I would love to work with you to create a one-of-a-kind treasure.
